Sampling carry out by scientists as per monitoring plan prepared by Environmental engineer. Analysis carry out by scientist at GEMI’s state- of-the-art Laboratory. Based on the analysis report and site investigation and observation, Environment engineer prepare the environment monitoring report.

The Environment Audit Scheme has been implemented by the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) upon the directives received from the Hon’ble High Court of Gujarat as per its order dated 20-12-1996.

Gujarat Environment Management Institute (GEMI) is recognized as schedule I auditor by GPCB. Existing, The Institute has three teams for carrying out Environmental audit.

Environmental Auditing (EA) typically comprises of data collection, environment monitoring & it’s analysis, and data analysis by Environmental engineers, scientists and/or a multi-disciplinary team of environmental specialists. This ensures and ascertains as to whether the operational activities, site characteristics and general procedures comply with the stipulated requirements and regulations.
